Whitley Place, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking an experienced Executive Director / Sales Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Keller, Texas. This high-impact dual leadership role is ideal for a proven senior living professional who excels in both community operations and sales performance. The Executive Director / Sales Director is responsible for driving occupancy, maximizing revenue, enhancing resident satisfaction, leading team development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional experiences for residents and families.

Position Overview
The Executive Director/Sales Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, resident satisfaction, team development, and occupancy growth of the community.
The successful candidate will be a highly visible leader who creates a culture of accountability, compassion, engagement, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct all community operations, ensuring exceptional resident care and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing assisted living and memory care.
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performing department leaders and community team members.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, accountability, and resident-centered care.
- Partner with department leaders to maintain community appearance, safety standards, and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor quality outcomes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Management
- Manage community budgets, revenue goals, and expense controls.
- Drive financial performance through occupancy growth and operational efficiency.
- Analyze key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve results.
- Ensure effective stewardship of community resources while maintaining exceptional resident experiences.
People Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate department leaders and community team members.
- Build strong leadership succession plans and talent pipelines.
- Create an environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee retention.
- Partner with regional leadership to execute company initiatives and best practices.
Sales & Occupancy Growth
- Partner with the Director of Sales to achieve occupancy, revenue, and move-in goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and outreach initiatives.
- Support prospective residents and families throughout the sales process.
- Utilize competitive market data to identify opportunities for growth and increased market share.
- Ensure a seamless move-in experience that drives resident and family satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Executive Director experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, healthcare, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, or occupancy growth experience.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and managing community operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
- RHA, HFA, LNHA, or other applicable state licensure/certification preferred.
- Experience leading Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
- Proven history of improving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial results.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
