Job Summary:
Supports the corporate supply chain organization serving hospitals and care sites across all regions. Responsible for product data analysis, product lifecycle support, inventory optimization, SKU reduction, product conversion execution, and operational improvement initiatives. Collaborates with supply chain operations, clinicians, administrative staff, and distribution partners to ensure availability, standardization, and efficient utilization of medical supplies across the health system.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Executes product conversions and cutovers (validate data, update item records, and communicate changes to stakeholders).
- Maintains item master/ERP data for new item requests, changes, and discontinuations.
- Identifies and implements substitute items during recalls, backorders, and vendor disruptions.
- Supports SKU rationalization and variation reduction initiatives across hospitals and service lines.
- Partners with clinical and operational teams to ensure product acceptance and alignment with standards of care.  Analyzes utilization patterns and clinical feedback to drive product standardization and adoption.
- Optimizes inventory levels, replenishment strategies, and stocking parameters with distribution partners.  Performs inventory analysis to improve availability, reduce excess/obsolete inventory, and support rightsizing.
- Manages item-level forecasting to anticipate demand shifts, seasonality, and product lifecycle changes.
- Provides analytical insights to support decisions (spend analysis, utilization trends, and contract compliance).
- Supports product recall workflows (system management, notifications, tracking, and stakeholder communications).
- Delivers operational support through reporting, meeting facilitation/documentation, customer issue resolution, continuous improvement/data integrity initiatives, and various other projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

- One year of experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing
