We are undergoing a strategic business integration to merge our securities trading operations into the broader commercial banking framework. This integration presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future direction of our trading platform, ensuring seamless transitions, operational alignment, and optimized processes across different business lines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of cash equity trading and sales into Global Financial Markets, aligning systems, processes, and workflows while minimizing business disruption
- Oversee post-integration activities, strengthen end-to-end controls, and drive continuous process improvements
- Lead key GFM initiatives and projects involving trading platforms, regulatory changes, reporting, and post-trade processes
- Coordinate with Trading, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver business objectives
- Provide senior management with regular updates on project progress, timelines, risks and issues
- Drive annual business planning, including strategic objectives, growth targets, financial projections, budgets, headcount, and investment requirements
- Monitor business performance, revenue, costs, scorecards, and budget utilization
- Oversee vendor and contract management, including contract establishment and renewal, process optimization, and service-level agreement management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of people management experience, preferably with 3 years in project management
- Experience in business integration, process transformation, or mergers within financial institutions
- Knowledge of cash securities trading flows, systems, trading platforms, post-trade processes, risk systems, and financial products
- Equity trading experience, with exposure to electronic trading, debt, or fixed income considered an advantage
- Experience in budgeting, accounting, reconciliations, payables and receivables, and financial or scorecard reporting
- Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
