Job Description

Community Group Associa, is hiring a full time Code Enforcement Specialist to support its HOA community in Williamsburg, VA.

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction inthe context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary withdesignated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties formaintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.

This is a fulltime, onsite role, that requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a keen eye for detail, and strong report writing abilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Walk and inspect community grounds and amenities.

- Meet and great homeowners, members of the board of directors, and committee members.

- Research, investigate, and enforce property codes within boundaries.

- Notify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person andelectronically.

- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity ofcomplaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.

- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieveminimum property standards.

- Assist homeowners with the architectural review process.

- Support reports to the General Manager and Board of Directors.

- Other duties as assigned.

Hourly pay rate: $27-$29.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED Required.

- Customer service driven and team collaborator.

- Proactive community skills, knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.

- 1+ year of experience in administrative, clerical, data entry, and report writing.

- Self-motivated, takes the initiative, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

- Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
