AI Developer Role

Title : AI Developer (Full Stack)  & AI Developer (Backend)

Job location : London, Leeds or Manchester (2 days in office per week)

THE ROLE:
Our clients are looking for AI Developers (Full Stack) & AI Developers (Backend) to join their team.

Depending on your experience you will either work across the full tech stack or focus heavily on robust back-end integrations to deliver cutting edge AI features.

What Experience We Are Looking For:

- Strong foundational programming skills with Python as your primary language.

- Hands-on experience with LLM integration and advanced prompt engineering .

- Solid understanding of RAG architectures , including vector databases, embeddings, and tokenisation.

- Proficiency in navigating and deploying solutions using AWS services .

- Experience with Git and standard version control practices.

- (For Backend Focus) Deep knowledge of complex back-end integration, FastAPI (or similar frameworks), authentication, authorisation, firewalls, and API Gateways.

- Preferred/Bonus Skills: REST APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), watsonx Orchestrate, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL.

SOME THINGS YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

- AI Feature Development: Designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven functionalities for a healthcare App.

- LLM & RAG Management: Integrating Large Language Models and refining prompts to ensure highly accurate, secure responses. Building and managing RAG architectures and vector databases.

- Full Stack Execution: (If Full Stack) Delivering end-to-end AI features, ensuring seamless integration between user-facing elements and complex AI back-end services.

- Back-End Architecture: (If Backend) Architecting robust back-end systems, managing REST APIs via FastAPI, and configuring secure network layers (authentication, firewalls, API Gateways).

- Cloud & Deployment: Leveraging AWS cloud services to host, scale, and secure AI applications while contributing to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, utilizing Git for collaborative version control.
