Regional Operations Director - Primary Care

- Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
- Monday- Friday: Hours will vary due to business needs.
- Travel will be required within region.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Duly primary care clinics represent the “front door” to Duly’s network of high-quality providers and healthcare services. The Regional Operations Director is responsible for ensuring each patient receives a world-class experience every time they step into one of Duly’s primary care offices. The Regional Director is ultimately responsible for delivering operational excellence, leading financial results, best-in-class outcomes, and a “wow” patient experience. They accomplish these goals by identifying, developing, and mentoring exceptional Clinic Managers who ensure front office staff, back-office staff, and physicians have appropriate information, training and support to achieve clinic goals.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Build High-Performing Teams

- Recruits, develops, and retains high-performing Clinic Managers that consistently deliver operational excellence, exemplary patient experience, and exceed financial targets
- Set and embody standards for front desk staff, care teams, and operational leaders to achieve fee-for-service and value-based care KPIs
- Educate and provide resources to support change management, new processes, and workflows
- Assists Clinic Managers in developing process improvement, decision-making, and data analysis skills
- Develop annual performance goals that achieve staff, site, and Duly objectives. Review progress on these goals with each Clinic manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Assists and coaches Clinic Managers in stewardship of resources and work processes, ensuring clinics are adequately staffed to deliver on quality, efficiency, and access metrics

Performance Success

- Responsible for value-based care and fee-for-service financial and operational performance in the region, and expected to deliver on predetermined objectives in each area consistently
- Engage Clinic Managers and physician leadership to identify areas of opportunity, overcome challenges, and achieve results
- Assists Clinic Manager and physician leadership in working with physicians who need support and counseling
- Identifies physician and manager needs for further development and works with appropriate internal and external resources to assist in that development
- Implement programs that provide access, manage high-risk populations, capture internal referrals, achieve quality measures, deliver patient outcomes, and reduce costs
- Ensures compliance with DMG corporate, clinical, and human resource policies as well as with outside governmental agencies and regulators.

Data-Driven Decision Making

- Reviews performance and operational data regularly to identify areas of opportunity and immediately work with and through their respective teams to address variance from expected targets, processes, or minimum standards
- Review and explain metrics with physicians and staff, identifying and discussing opportunities to improve
- Partners with Regional Chief Medical Officer to review performance data, identify areas of opportunity, and develop action plans to engage operational and clinical staff collectively and individually

Change and Program Management

- Stuard teams through organizational change by explaining initiatives, answering questions, communicating timelines, and ultimately pacing the execution of changes
- Provide input to the executive team on opportunities for improvement, structural issues, operational shortcomings, and resource deficiencies
- Actively monitor patient experience and work cross-functionally with other areas of the organization to improve that experience

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Minimum bachelor level education in healthcare administration, management, or related field.
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, management, nursing, or related field a plus.

Years of Experience

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in multi-unit management, healthcare administration, provider group operations, or a related field

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $125,000-188,000 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
