Job Description: As a Capture Artist, you will capture gameplay footage and screenshots for marketing, advertising, and social content. Reporting to the Franchise Capture Lead, you will bring strong expertise in the game, capture tools, EASFC and soccer culture, and cinematic camera language.
You will work closely with development and production partners to understand key features and ensure they are represented clearly and effectively in final assets.
Responsibilities:
- Capture gameplay clips from game for use in Marketing and on Social Media
- Problem solves to achieve the best results while working within the confines of unfinished technology.
- Communicate any issues with leads to determine the best way to adjust capture to achieve the visual goal for the asset.
- Archive, organize, log, and manage assets.
- Support leads and help onboard new hires.
- Plan and execute small to medium size projects. Coordinates capture with 1-2 additional capture artists to accomplish shots.
- Work with Leads & Supervisors to create and organize trackers across multiple projects.
- Daily communication with leads & supervisors and production partners on project status.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of EA SPORTS FC, soccer culture, and gameplay.
- Good understanding of cinematic and camera language.
- Strong eye for detail and the ability to capture compelling gameplay moments.
- Self-motivated, solutions-focused, and able to take ownership of assigned work.
- Technically capable, with strong troubleshooting skills across PC and current-generation consoles.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and follow-up skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with sports photography, film, or Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects is an asset.
- A degree in Film, Art, Design, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
