Position Purpose:
The Manager, Performance Systems develops career development, talent planning, and performance management solutions that help build a high performing and engaged workforce at The Home Depot.

Key Responsibilities:
- Works with HR partners and business leaders to develop and implement: talent discussions and succession planning processes and tools for the enterprise; programs to support associate and leadership development programs; a common approach to Mentoring and Career Pathing; and all Performance Management related processes and tools.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Position reports to Senior Manager, Performance Systemsn ( Talent Planning,Performance Management & Career Development).Partners with SSC and Field Professioanls outside the workgroup.
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of Performance Management and Talent Planning processes. Project management experience in a corporate context. Analytical background to support analysis of employee data. Facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills. Knowledge of employment law.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master' s degree preferred with Leadership Development, Organization Development or related concentration. General knowledge and experience with Talent Management, Succession Planning or Performance Management systems.

Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

- Strong project management skills; must have ability to initiate project plans and balance multiple changing deadlines and priorities.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Flexibility in a changing fast paced environment with multiple work demands.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
