About this role
NOV Subsea Production Systems (SPS) in Brazil is seeking an OT Systems Administrator who will take ownership of production-critical Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, supporting our Smart Factory transformation journey . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that OT systems remain stable, reliable, secure, and fit for purpose in dedicated hardware. You must own the lifecycle of assigned systems, including their maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with OT or IT infrastructure supporting critical operation.
- Knowledge with industrial networking concepts and infrastructure architecture.
- Knowledge of virtualization environments and server infrastructure.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Dockers and OpenShift.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues. Initiative, creativity, and a proactive mindset.
- Experience with Windows Server, virtualization platforms (such as Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix, or similar), and Active Directory.
- English Fluency is a must,
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial automation and system integration is a plus.
- Experience within industrial production environments.
- Experience with MES, SCADA, Historian, or other industrial data systems.
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and IT/OT segregation.
- Experience with documentation, governance, and system ownership practices.
