About this role

Site Supervisor

A site supervisor oversees the work operations in a construction site, ensuring the efficiency of workflow and safety of the workforce. The tasks of a site supervisor primarily revolve around conducting inspections and assessing risks, managing and evaluating workers, and coordinating with site foreman and suppliers.

Accurately report out and track field progress

Schedule, plan and allocate resources accordingly

Identify out of scope work, communicate to Project Manager and maintain labor / equipment records for activity

Arrange and manage basic vendors such as scaffolding, traffic control, and Fiber Optics, rental equipment

Support field crew to ensure smooth work flow (gathering supplies, customer management, site meetings, etc)

Correspond with Engineering, Logistics and Warehouse to communicate needs and resolve site questions or issues

Ensure field processes are being followed (JSA’s, safety audits, splicing records, etc)

Time Card Entry

Arrange tooling for splicers in advance, cable pulling equipment, etc

Assist Cost control measures (Hotel negotiations, Cheaper recurring supplies, etc)

Advises management of cost over runs, tracks T&M or other cost recovery metrics, and helps secure proper signatures to receive change orders and document activity

Ability to be at project site majority of the day

Necessary Experience

High School Diploma or GED

OSHA 30 before going to site

Valid Drivers License

Ability to Pass recurring Drug Screening and pass fitness exams
