We're an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government seeking a Senior Python/Web Developer. In this role, you will create and publish digital media, interactive visuals such as charts and graphs, and other data visualizations for publication to the client's data catalog. The role will involve creating web-based visualizations from static content.
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a Federal government security clearance is required for this position.
This position will require occasional on-site work. Applicants must reside within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A minimum of five (5) years experience with web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, jQuery, React.js, and Angular
- Experience developing in Windows, Linux, and Drupal environments
- Experience using Python in continuous integration and deployment with tools like Gitlab, Docker, and Nginx
- Experience performing software development in an Agile environment.
- Experience with modernizations, implementations, and web application updates.
- Ability to contribute quickly to project requirements
- Ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment
- Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity, and customer service-oriented personality
- Strong communications skills
- Good organization skills and ability to manage a dynamic workload
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnostic skills in a complex IT environment
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience working with loosely defined requirements
- Ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Strong writing skills - grammar and spelling
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding or passionate interest in understanding Stock Markets
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical area.

Salary: $130,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience.
All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education, as well as, a criminal and DMV check.
Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
