Job Title:   PostgreSQL Database Developer 
Location:  100% Remote
Position Type:  Direct W2
Pay Range:  $50/hr W2
Experience Required: 10  + years

Required Skills:
- PostgreSQL database development and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, Cloud platforms (AWS S3) and containerizaiton technologies (Docker), AWS Lambda, ETL pipeline development, .NET CORE and REACT JS development , proficiency in C#, .NET10, ASP.NET Core, Entity framework Core, Typescript/JavaScript, PrimeReact, Git and GitLab, AI tools for optimization

Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements and exceed our customers' expectations.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ingesting data using PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries with cloud platforms (AWS), S3, and AWS Lambda.

Position Overview:
- As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements and exceed our customers' expectations.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET Core and React development, PostgreSQL database development, AWS Cloud, Python, and ETL pipeline development with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate wireframes and Designs into functional websites/web applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
- Address defects/bugs, either from internal testing validations or production validations, in coordination with product managers and cross-functional teams
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and suggest new tools and techniques to improve our development process.
- Help foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on .NET Core and React development.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, TypeScript/JavaScript, and other related technologies.
- ETL Pipeline development experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, software architecture concepts, asynchronous programming, and state management libraries
- Experience with API integration (Axios/Fetch)
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and PrimeReact.
- Experience with front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and S3, Secrets Manager, AWS Lambda is a plus.
- Experience building automated unit test scripts using NUnit/XUnit for .NET and Jest for React
- Experience in writing Python scripts for automation of data processing
- Experience working with Git and GitLab version control in a collaborative team environment, creating merge requests, and performing code reviews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
