About this role

The Role

Pickle is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace where people rent, buy, lend, and sell from each other’s real closets — with over 500,000 items nationwide.

We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Comms & Content Intern to help us create marketing that people actually want to engage with.

You’ll work across email, push notifications, and visual content, turning fashion trends, cultural moments, and product drops into compelling reasons to rent.

To Apply

Please include the following:

- Your resume and a brief introduction about yourself.
- Examples of creative work you’ve produced, such as social content, marketing emails, copywriting, or Canva designs.
- Please share your availability (days and hours). Availability Monday–Wednesday is required, though part-time hours on those days are welcome.
- Two creative ideas for how you’d get more people opening the Pickle app and renting.

What You’ll Do

- Write engaging marketing emails and push notifications that drive users back into the app.
- Develop creative hooks and messaging around fashion, trends, events, and cultural moments.
- Create visual assets for email, social media, paid ads, and in-app campaigns using Canva.
- Support content days, campaign execution, and ad hoc asks from the marketing team.
- Help launch marketing campaigns, analyze performance, and test new ideas.

Who You Are

- A strong writer who knows how to grab attention.
- Passionate about fashion, pop culture, and social media.
- Creative and visually minded, with experience using Canva.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable moving quickly.
- Curious about marketing, consumer behavior, and what drives engagement.

What You’ll Get

- Hands-on experience across content, brand, and lifecycle marketing.
- Real ownership of creative projects at a fast-growing startup.
- Direct mentorship from the Pickle marketing team.
- The opportunity to see your work go live to hundreds of thousands of users.
