About this role

Description

This is a fixed-term contract of 2 years.

At Amazon, we're working to be the most Customer-centric company on earth. A customer experience that we’re constantly re-inventing is how we fulfill and deliver customers' orders. We're doing so by building a world class last mile operation capable of exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible by building a network of entrepreneurial owned and operated small businesses (called the DSP program).

We are hiring a Strategy Manager to support the DSP program across all International Regions (EU, APAC and MEATR). This is a unique opportunity to collaborate across both internal stakeholders and with Amazon’s DSPs on products, programs, and technologies that improve the Amazon customer experience.

This role will be responsible for developing and iterating our strategy across regions, ensuring that our offering to DSPs remains compelling for the community and meets the needs of the business. The role will tackle new, emerging and ambiguous problem statements. One day you might be helping to define new revenue opportunities for our DSP partners, the next partnering with the fleet team to define new methods of transport, and the day after that you might be leading cost reduction efforts. It is a deliberately broad and ambiguous role that will suit someone excited by an undefined charter and the opportunity that brings. The individual will need to build the mechanisms, processes and roadmap for their scope; it is a true greenfield opportunity.

This role is focused on the Think Big, Earns Trust, Dive Deep and Deliver Results leadership principles. With the ability to navigate ambiguity and use data to define a roadmap being key to success. The successful candidate will be a strong writer and able to operate at all levels of the organization. Any background in logistics, last mile or supply chain will be considered a plus.

The role supports the DSP program across EU, MEATR and APAC and we are open to hiring candidates to work out of any of our major EU hubs (London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Madrid, Tokyo, Sydney or Dubai).

About the team
The DSP team partners with entrepreneurial individuals to build sustainable and scalable delivery capacity so that Amazon can continue to delight customers with fast, efficient, and bar raising fulfillment of their orders.
