The Charge Registered Nurse utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice.

Position Details:

Charge Nurse RN

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available!

Full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience eligible

What You'll Do

- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Administer treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
- Provide patient and family education to support positive outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Lead daily operations by coordinating staffing, assignments, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
- Support quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire).

Preferred:

- Charge nurse or leadership experience.
- Specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and twist as needed for patient care.
