About this role

Position Overview
 
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Hybrid GSOC Operator/Analyst to be embedded at a leading medical technology company based in San Diego, CA.
 
The Sr. Hybrid GSOC Operator/Analyst will work to provide unified situational awareness and proactive risk mitigation across global sites, supply chain operations, travel, and corporate functions. The analyst will operate, administer, and integrate with the client’s enterprise security platforms as the systems for incident management, threat intelligence, emergency communication, video management, access control, and alarm monitoring. 
 
The is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits. The team follows a 5-day schedule with 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week, with overtime compensation.
 
Essential Job Functions
Monitor CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, life safety systems, and IoT sensors across global facilities in real time.
Track global threat intelligence and correlate alerts with Client personnel and assets utilizing Everbridge.
Manage travel risk monitoring and personnel tracking, incorporating geofencing and wellness checks as required.
Provide crisis management support, execute mass notification activations, and conduct post-incident reviews.
Perform continuous intelligence monitoring pertinent to company locations, operations, and industry developments.
Develop threat models, conduct proactive assessments, and escalate real-time incidents affecting facilities, manufacturing, supply chain, and traveling staff.
Identify, assess, and escalate emerging executive, insider, or reputational risks—including threats related to travel, facilities, protests, or targeted individuals—in coordination with intelligence and security leadership.
Liaise with Client employees, contractors, and visitors for routine operations, incident escalations, and emergencies, delivering clear communications.
Conduct thorough operational pass-downs and briefings between shifts to ensure seamless continuity of operations and intelligence sharing.
Execute emergency notifications, account for personnel, generate incident spot reports, and support continuity of operations during critical events.
Meet defined service levels and performance expectations. 
 
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience working in a security control center environment
Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field 
Working-level proficiency with Everbridge (advanced proficiency preferred) 
Strong analytic, oral, and written presentation skills including the ability to deliver communications centered on the target audience
Working-level proficiency in physical security technologies common to security control centers
Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Proven ability to work with highly confidential information
Ability to work proactively and constructively in a team setting, as well as individually with little day-to-day oversight
Excellent personal communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to work inclusively with others
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Multilingual capability is a plus
