$75,000–$77,000 annually + Up to 5% Annual Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits + 16 Paid Holidays

We're looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to join our team at Regency at Montaine, a 55+ active adult community in Castle Rock, Colorado. In this role, you'll lead community engagement, resident communications, and programming that bring neighbors together, build lasting relationships, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to get involved.

This is an opportunity to shape the community experience through signature events, resident clubs, volunteer initiatives, lifelong learning, and partnerships that reflect the interests and spirit of Montaine. You'll work closely with residents, community leaders, and local organizations to create experiences that foster belonging and establish traditions residents will carry forward.

What You'll Do

Community Engagement & Programming

- Develop and lead a dynamic community engagement strategy that reflects Montaine's unique brand, vision, and culture while creating opportunities for residents to connect, participate, and find purpose.
- Plan and execute a variety of experiences, including signature events, social activities, recreation, resident clubs, lifelong learning, philanthropic initiatives, and community celebrations.
- Collaborate with residents to identify interests, develop new programs, and establish meaningful traditions that strengthen the community's sense of belonging.
- Use resident feedback, surveys, and participation trends to continually improve programming and introduce new opportunities for engagement.

Resident Relationships & Community Partnerships

- Build authentic relationships with residents, community leaders, civic organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses to expand programming and engagement opportunities.
- Develop and support resident clubs, committees, and volunteer initiatives, empowering residents to take an active role in shaping their community.
- Partner with the onsite team to create a welcoming experience for new homeowners and help residents build meaningful connections from the start.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, developer representatives, and builder sales teams to support community initiatives and events.

Communications & Community Connection

- Develop and coordinate resident communications, including newsletters, event promotions, social media content, and community announcements.
- Create clear, engaging messaging that keeps residents informed, encourages participation, and reflects the Montaine community brand.
- Work with onsite teams and community partners to ensure consistent, timely, and thoughtful communication across all channels.
- Serve as a visible, approachable presence in the community, listening to residents, building trust, and responding with care.

Event Operations & Financial Stewardship

- Develop annual programming plans and budgets, monitor expenses, and identify creative ways to deliver meaningful experiences while maintaining financial responsibility.
- Source and manage event vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics to ensure successful programs and events.
- Oversee event planning details, including scheduling, permits, insurance requirements, vendor coordination, and onsite execution.
- Collaborate with the broader Cohere team to share ideas, improve processes, and continuously elevate the resident experience.

What We're Looking For

- College degree in a relevant field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of management-level experience.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in community engagement, hospitality, event management, recreation management, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing events, programs, or initiatives that encourage meaningful participation and build relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating engaging content and communicating with a variety of audiences.
- Ability to build partnerships, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and inspire resident and volunteer involvement.
- Experience managing program budgets, vendors, contracts, and event logistics.
- Strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Experience in a master-planned community or active adult community is a plus.

Additional Requirements

- Primary work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to support community events and activities.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation for occasional offsite meetings, events, and errands.
- Ability to complete the M-100 course within six months of employment.
