Description:
The Senior Manager, Regional Business – Biosciences (SMRB) is a dynamic sales leader responsible for driving performance, inspiring a high-achieving regional team, and executing a strategic vision in the institutional and community healthcare markets. This role requires deep expertise in navigating complex sales channels, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), wholesalers, launch products, and the buy-and-bill landscape. The Senior Regional Business Manager will work cross-functionally to align sales execution with broader commercial strategies, ensuring sustained success in a competitive environment. The SMRB is responsible for driving regional sales through strong account management and pull through while leading a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs). The SMRB will coordinate all commercial efforts in the region while collaborating closely with other sales leadership and commercial stakeholders to develop an integrated strategy for success. The SMRB role also involves the identification and development of new customers and accounts within the region as well as increased product adoption for appropriate patients within those key accounts. This position provides strategic and tactical leadership for field sales, collaborates with cross-functional team members, and aligns across functions to execute the plan and accomplish results..
Essential Functions:
- Drive Sales Performance Ensure the region meets or exceeds sales targets and other key performance indicators.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with key decision-makers in health systems, GPOs, community, and other institutional stakeholders
- Coaching & Leadership Maximize organizational talent. Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Helps facilitate and support professional development of sales team members to both maximize results and prepare team members for future opportunities within the organization.
- Works in close partnership with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Contracting, Data Analytics, Operations, Medical, Regulatory, Customer Service, Finance and Human Resources to meet timelines and optimize business outcomes.
- Ensure all business activities align with corporate policies, industry regulations, and the highest ethical standards.
- Lead with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions
- Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement sales strategies that align with corporate objectives, leveraging insights from customers and market trends.
- Gather field insights to shape commercial strategy, training programs, and execution plans.
- Establish mechanisms to track regional performance, optimize resource allocation, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Hospital System, Community Sales & Market Access Strategies Support commercial initiatives related to large community group practices as well as health system engagement, payer dynamics, and distribution strategies.
- Develops a process to obtain timely and informative field insights that influence marketing strategy, access, and training plans.
- Identify and attend industry events, including aggregator summits, state society and national conferences.
- Share important learnings, information, such as best practices, opportunities, and competitive threats with sales management and peers.
Additional Responsibilities:
- To perform the essential functions of this job, candidates may be required to register with government authorities and complete trainings as well as credentialing with industry services, which may require specific background screens, drug testing and/or proof of certain vaccinations.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Life Sciences, Business or Marketing focus or relevant coursework - Required
Experience:
- 10 years or more in Pharmaceutical/Medical sales, marketing, or commercial life sciences experience
- 5 years or more in First line sales management (District Sales Manager, Regional Business Manager, etc.) experience, including hiring, training, and developing sales representatives
- in Experience with biologics, complex therapies, or injectables/device sales - Preferred
- in Experience selling in Oncology specialty - Preferred
- in Buy and Bill and/or contracting experience
- in Prior success launching new products, with a preference for candidates who have led launches in institutional settings
- in Ability to manage multi-state geographies effectively and to travel extensively

The base salary for this position ranges from $190,000 to $230,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
