Director of Donor Relations & Events – Springfield

The Director of Donor Relations & Events leads fundraising, donor development, and stewardship activities for FosterAdopt Connect Springfield and the YouthConnect Center. This position works closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement fundraising strategies, coordinate events, cultivate donor relationships, and strengthen community engagement.

This isn't just a fundraising position—it's an opportunity to inspire generosity, build lasting partnerships, and help provide the resources children and families need to thrive.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, nonprofit management, or a related field.

- Four (4) or more years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.

- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, including excellent public speaking abilities.

- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse individuals and community partners.

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel as needed.
