Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods to and from the warehouse(s) while providing a superior level of customer service and maintaining the integrity of electronic inventory records. Duties include inventory management, supplier management, purchasing, stocking, tracking job orders/deliveries, forecasting parts demand, general warehouse stocking, transferring and dispersal of various items related to Enerflex Field Operations. forecasting parts demand. This position is responsible for performing functions, procedures, activities and responsibilities associated with Parts Warehousing under direct to moderate supervision.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

The Warehouse/Parts Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely movement, receipt, storage, procurement, and shipment of materials while delivering excellent customer service and supporting branch operations. This role manages inventory transactions, purchasing activities, shipping and receiving functions, billing, and material distribution using SAP and other company systems. The incumbent ensures inventory accuracy, maintains compliance with company policies and safety standards, and supports internal and external customers through effective coordination and communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional customer service consistent with company values.

- Receive, inspect, store, issue, and distribute materials, parts, tools, and supplies.

- Process requisitions, work orders, shipping orders, invoices, and related documentation.

- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other records.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

- Utilize SAP and inventory management systems to record material movements and transactions.

- Prepare and package products for domestic and international shipment and coordinate freight activities.

- Determine appropriate shipping methods and assist with freight claims as needed.

- Source, quote, purchase, and bill materials and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Support supplier relationships, competitive sourcing efforts, and purchasing objectives.

- Review shipping, receiving, routing, and inventory transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, shipping/receiving, and operations teams to meet business objectives.

- Operate company vehicles, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, and warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

- Load, unload, and move materials manually and with powered equipment.

- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements.

- Assist coworkers with routine issues and maintain positive working relationships with customers and vendors.

- Participate in after-hours, weekend, holiday on-call rotations, and overtime as required.

- Comply with all company safety, quality, environmental, HR, and operational policies.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma

- 2 - 4+ years' related work experience

- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry including experience with ERP systems preferably SAP

- Knowledge of Caterpillar engine and Ariel compressor, Waukesha and related spare parts preferred.

- Must have a great understanding of the invoicing/billing process (if applicable).

- Must be capable of lifting (up to 50 lbs.), push/pull (up to 70 lbs.) and operating light equipment within a warehouse environment

- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and properly use/operate lift trucks and general equipment used in a warehouse.

- Capable of effective communication with various levels of personnel.

- Possess math aptitude necessary to do inventory calculations.

- Capable of handling multiple tasks and deal effectively with interruptions.

- Good customer service skills; displays a professional can-do attitude.

- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.

- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers to perform fine motor skills; possess good hand/eye coordination; handle or feel; reach with. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time; infrequently/frequently get in/out of truck cab; up/down from truck bed; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. employee will also be required to work outside in extreme heat and or cold; the ability to use hands and arms to regularly/frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds; and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
