On behalf of the Strategic Accounts organization and its customers, the Customer Master Data (CMD) Specialist is responsible for the daily customer master maintenance of new and existing customer accounts, account partnership structures, and contract price maintenance within our enterprise system, SAP. Through a combination of applying standard operating procedures and leveraging relevant experience, the CMD Specialist ensures accuracy and completeness in all tasks, driving a successful and positive experience for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily work across multiple platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, Google Groups, email) to manage time-sensitive customer requests, demonstrating rapid task-switching and agility amid shifting priorities.
- Validate data quality and request completeness by reviewing and verifying account details prior to entry, following up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate outcomes.
- Research, analyze, and resolve customer data and pricing inconsistencies using available resources, seeking guidance from leadership when necessary.
- Self-audit all work consistently in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Collaborate with and support team members to ensure internal and external customer needs are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
