We are looking for a Journeyman or Red seal HET/ Electrician/Millwright/ HVAC - Technician for our Service Center in Abbotsford, BC where you’ll play a key role in helping our customers power progress.

What you’ll do :

- Work in the field daily, traveling locally in a company-provided vehicle.

- Perform major mechanical interventions / overhauls and electrical system servicing to defined service intervals and in line with standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Carry out intermediate mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics on both power and TC equipment
- Ensure the completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
- Assist, support and train service crew.
- Intermediate Installation & Commissioning, for example commissioning of multiple canopy generators, single containerized generator, nominal temp chiller / multiple AC’s, heaters, compressors etc to LV/HV distribution.

You are:

- High School diploma/GED
- Journeyman or Red seal – Heavy equipment Technician/ Millwright / HVAC / Electrician
- 4-7 years of experience.
- Experience working on Cummins, Volvo, or Jenbacher diesel or natural gas-powered generators and compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs is an asset
- Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics
- Valid driver’s license and Passport
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

Wage range: $45-$50
