NOW HIRING! TEEN & FAMILY PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a full time Teen & Family Program Director at the North Canton Community Building YMCA to provide strategic leadership for family engagement, youth culture, teen development and signature family programming. The role strengthens family retention, creates meaningful experiences, develops staff and volunteers, and ensures YMCA values are reflected throughout youth and family interactions.
SALARY RANGE: $44,000+ commensurate with experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in youth development, recreation, education, social work, human development, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Prior supervisory experience, including the ability to lead, coach, schedule, and manage part-time staff.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong relationship-building skills with youth, parents, staff, volunteers, schools, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with youth, families, and community members from diverse backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and perspectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome and connect new family memberships; partner with Membership on onboarding, retention, referrals, and communication.
- Build community partnerships that expand youth and family opportunities.
- Lead and evaluate family programming that aligns with community needs, branch goals and member interests.
- Recruit, train, coach, schedule and evaluate department staff and volunteers.
- Lead teen lobby operations, afterschool culture, behavior expectations, engagement opportunities, and staff development.
- Lead family programs such as Kids Night Out, Parents Day Out, Toddler Time, seasonal events, and other family engagement initiatives.
- Manage department budgets, supplies, operational planning, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
