About this role

IDC is the Infra team chartered to ensure data centers are designed and built to meet Meta's needs, and operated efficiently, reliably, and sustainably — working closely with Core Systems, Infra Foundation, NetInfra, and Finance

We're seeking an Executive Business Operations Lead to serve as the strategic and operational backbone for IDC’s most senior leadership. This role operates at the intersection of organizational strategy, executive decision-making, and cross-company coordination — shaping how a multi-thousand-person organization plans, prioritizes, communicates, and delivers at scale.

This role requires an experienced business operations executive who has operated as a trusted advisor to VP+ leaders in complex organizations. They bring sound business judgment informed by experience, enterprise-wide perspective, and the ability to architect scalable operating models that create clarity and alignment across multiple teams and workstreams. They have a track record of driving transformational initiatives, building high-performing operational functions, and operating with the discretion, credibility, and influence required to partner with VP and C-suite leadership.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the end-to-end operating model for IDC’s executive leadership team — defining the cadence, structure, and decision-making frameworks that drive strategic alignment across multiple VP-led organizations
Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to IDC’s VP+ leadership on organizational strategy, resource allocation, cross-functional dependencies, and enterprise-wide priorities
Architect and lead the rhythm of the business for a multi-thousand person organization, ensuring leadership has line-of-sight into critical workstreams, risks, and investment decisions
Drive transformational initiatives spanning organizational design, operating model changes, and cross-company coordination — scoping ambiguity, building alignment across senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes
Lead executive communications strategy — shaping the narrative for IDC’s leadership across internal forums, company-wide presentations, board-level materials, and leadership offsites
Build and codify scalable decision-making frameworks, executive review structures, and information architectures that enable leadership to operate with speed and clarity
Operate as the enterprise-wide connective tissue across IDC's sub-organizations and key cross-functional partners (Finance, HR, Recruiting, Facilities, Legal) — identifying systemic gaps, driving resolution, and ensuring coherence across initiatives
Mentor and develop business operations partners across the Infrastructure organization, elevating the craft and building a community of practice
Represent IDC leadership in cross-company forums, executive reviews, and strategic working groups — synthesizing complex technical and organizational context for senior audiences
