Associate or Mid-Level Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer

The Boeing Safety, Security, and Airworthiness organization is seeking an Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri . This position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various aircraft and external stores for USAF (United States Air Force)/USN (United States Navy)/Phantom Works/DOD (Department of Defense) programs.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including, Associate (Level 2) or Mid-Level (Level 3) Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineers.
Primary responsibilities:
- Critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing
without authority, & consultation
- Ability to communicate concisely in text, with metrics, verbally, one-on-one, in small groups,
and to large audiences
- Experience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team
members
- Maintains situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencing
- Proactively communicates with various leadership team/s, peers and customers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Level 2: 2+ years of experience working in an engineering, engineering technology, or related technical discipline
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Level 3: 5+ years of experience working in an engineering, engineering technology, or related technical discipline
- Experience in aircraft certification (FAA, Mil-Hdbk-516, EMAR)
- Experience on multi-disciplinary teams to meet tight schedules
- Experience on a large project or program which required the use of project management
tools and processes
- Experience with the operation of aircraft systems or knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: aerodynamics, stability and control, propulsion, structures, and mission systems
- Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range :
- Associate (Level 2): $88,400 - $119,600
- Experienced (Level 3): $107,100 - $144,900
