The Senior Manager, Sales Performance & Enablement is pivotal in operationalizing the strategic roadmap for sales leaders across multiple sales channels and defining consistent sales performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales strategy, operational excellence, and leadership within a complex, multi-channel sales environment.

Sales Strategy & Leadership

- Collaborate with Sales VPs and other senior leaders to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements across all sales channels.
- Build and operationalize the strategic roadmap for multiple sales channels, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate strategic planning sessions and leadership meetings to ensure focus on key business priorities.
- Act as a liaison between the sales, operations, finance, analytics, and marketing departments to foster an integrated approach to sales and business strategy.

Sales Process & Continuous Improvement

- Own the intake process for sales continuous improvement projects gathering ideas across the business to drive revenue or optimize sales’ time.
- Drive initiatives to enhance sales productivity and optimize sales process efficiency.
- Partner with sales leadership team to identify and outline overarching sales process.
- Lead and execute key pilot projects for sales allowing us to test and learn quickly with a goal towards scaling across channels.
- Document multi-phased action plans to bring to life the sales initiatives.

Team Leadership & Execution

- Lead a team of high performing Sales Project Managers to drive initiatives that save sales time and drive revenue.

Sales Communications & Change Management

- Own our Sales Communication channel internally, delivering key messages to sales teams about upcoming changes, impact, and expectations.

Technology, Reporting & Business Requirements

- Collaborate with Salesforce team and platforms team to provide business requirements that leverage our tech stack to support key business processes and reporting.
- Build consistent and comprehensive business requirements for sales performance reporting across all sales channels.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Work Experience

At least 8 years of experience in sales operations, business strategy, or a similar role within a large, complex organization.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Demonstrated experience in managing sales performance reporting and strategic planning.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using CRM and data analysis tools.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.

- Direct leadership experience capable of motivating a high performing team

- Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements:

Education

MBA or other relevant graduate degree

Certification / License

Familiarity with continuous improvement or other process improvement methodologies

Work Experience

- Cross functional project management and collaboration

- Experience in the energy sector or a manufacturing environment

- Advanced skills in data visualization and business intelligence software

- Experience partnering with and influencing Sales VP+ level executives

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Ability to think cross functionally and provide solutions with the ability to scale across a large, complex organization.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and the ability to communicate findings cross-functionally to drive action planning and execution.

- Ability to convert metrics into meaningful, digestible information.

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

- Able to influence others without direct authority and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent interpersonal, management, motivation, and analytical skills

- Self-starter with initiative and vision.

- Proven leadership skills to manage and lead teams effectively and motivate them to achieve their goals.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with sales teams, senior management, and other stakeholders.
