The ABL Credit Delivery team, comprised of ABL Structuring and ABL Asset Management, underwrites asset-based loans (“ABL”) to new and existing clients and actively manages the existing portfolio to meet client needs while also ensuring appropriate risk/return strategies. ABL Structuring and ABL Asset Management adhere to operational/regulatory compliance in their structuring, underwriting, and managing ABL loans for overall credit quality, collateral monitoring, financial analysis, legal diligence and risk mitigation in the execution of transactions, which may include original approvals, amendments, refinancings and ancillary credit product approvals. ABL Credit Delivery Associates support ABL Structuring and Asset Management in underwriting and portfolio management responsibilities, may be assigned to support senior Credit Delivery Teammates but require increasingly less oversight, be responsible for their assigned opportunities and exhibit confidence in all facets of independent credit evaluation. ABL Credit Delivery Associates take ownership of projects in coordination with Credit Delivery leadership and mentor junior teammates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support senior ABL Structuring and Asset Management Teammates underwriting and closing ABL transactions and ABL portfolio management responsibilities, respectively, with the goal of ultimately taking full ownership of assigned opportunities.
2. Develop deep ABL subject matter expertise and apply knowledge into value added ideas.
3. Demonstrate strong technical skills, thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis; identify and quantify risk.
4. Mentor and develop analyst teammates.
5. Adhere to risk/compliance policies and guidelines.
6. Work with originations, legal, compliance, risk and operations partners to align strategic objectives, share market knowledge, and facilitate seamless execution in a One Team approach.
7. Demonstrate Truist culture and values.
Required Qualifications

1. BA/BS degree
2. Licenses: Series 79; Series 63; SIE
3. 3+ years of related work experience
4. Strong technical skills including financial analysis, modeling, presentation
5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust and accountability
6. Demonstrated analytical skills – ability to distill complex data into concise and relevant issues.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
9. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to facilitate execution
10. Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA degree, with Finance focus
2. Prior experience as analyst in financial institution
The annual base salary for this position is $120,000.
