Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team.

This is a  Full-Time Days position working 40 hours per week, with shifts of 8:00am-6:30pm at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville (Downtown), FL.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.

Mobility Technician Job Responsibilities:

- Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients
- Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards
- Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments
- Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols
- Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.

Mobility Technician Experience:

- None

Education:

- HSD/GED required
- Associate's Degree Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
