Job Summary:

Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Mon - Fri, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Extended hours and occasional weekend work are required during peak periods such as registration, grade submission, and commencement.
Serves as the primary driver for institutional business development initiatives while providing strategic oversight for all marketing and communications functions. This individual will lead efforts to expand and diversify the College's partnerships, student enrollment pipelines, and revenue-generating opportunities while ensuring a unified, impactful brand presence.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Strategic Leadership and Oversight
- Serve as the senior leader responsible for marketing, communications, and business development strategies for the College.
- Develop, implement, and measure integrated plans that promote the College’s mission, programs, and partnerships while driving enrollment and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, academic programs, enrollment teams, and community stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and market positioning.
Business Development and Growth Initiatives
- Direct core sales and partnership development strategies to support new business opportunities.
- Guide business development staff in prospecting, qualifying leads, managing the pipeline, and tracking activities within the College CRM.
- Utilize healthcare and education industry insights to identify opportunities for new partnerships, program expansion, and revenue diversification.
- Oversee the development of effective financial models and operational best practices to support sustainable growth.
Marketing, Communications, and Brand Management
- Provide strategic oversight for all marketing and communications efforts, ensuring consistent and impactful brand representation.
- Guide the development of marketing campaigns, digital content, advertising, public relations, and internal communications to support enrollment, retention, and institutional awareness.
- Ensure alignment between marketing activities and business development initiatives to maximize lead generation, engagement, and partnership visibility.
Data-Driven Decision Making and Continuous Improvement
- Analyze marketing, communications, and business development data to assess performance, measure ROI, drive strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement.
- Track and report on performance growth efforts, using insights to refine approaches and maximize outcomes.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the College remains competitive and innovative.
Collaboration and Relationship Management
- Foster effective collaboration between internal departments, including admissions, academic affairs, student engagement, and professional development.
- Represent the College to external audiences, partners, and stakeholders, serving as a key ambassador for institutional growth and reputation.
- Collaborate with leadership to guide public relations initiatives, faculty thought leadership opportunities, and community engagement efforts.

Education
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, business development, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing growth strategies, partnerships, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience in financial budget planning and operations oversight.
- Higher education and/or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
License/Certifications:

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build effective partnerships.
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Advanced understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, content management systems, search engine optimization (SEO), and marketing automation tools.
- Ability to foster collaboration, value other perspectives, gain support/buy-in, and influence positive outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to large groups.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and make informed decisions.
- Understanding of healthcare and/or higher education industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and marketing technology platforms.
