The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Data Center Design Management team is a forward-thinking group dedicated to shaping the infrastructure that powers the cloud. We are seeking a Senior Data Center Design Manager to help drive our global data center growth with innovation, precision, and a commitment to design excellence.

As a Senior Data Center Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design delivery of data center infrastructure across Oracle's global portfolio. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to lead design efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and lease providers. You will play a critical role in ensuring our facilities are reliable, scalable, efficient, and aligned with Oracle’s strategic objectives.

Job Summary:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Data Center Design Manager to help drive the execution and technical oversight of designs across our global data center portfolio. As a senior individual contributor, you will manage the full lifecycle of design activities, from early planning and consultant engagement through design reviews and coordination, ensuring all projects meet Oracle’s standards for quality, efficiency, and scalability.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and colocation providers to deliver design packages that align with Oracle’s technical program requirements. You will contribute to the strategic vision of OCI’s infrastructure growth by applying your deep technical knowledge, driving design consistency, and proactively resolving design risks. This role is critical to maintaining design quality across projects and plays a key part in enabling OCI’s global expansion.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end design process for new and retrofit data center projects.

- Coordinate with internal teams including construction, operations, network, and capacity planning to align project requirements.

- Oversee and review consultant design packages (BOD, SD, DD, IFC), ensuring alignment with Oracle design standards and programmatic goals.

- Drive technical due diligence and early design assessments for lease and greenfield opportunities.

- Act as the primary design point of contact for colocation partners, providing direction, design QA/QC, and performance feedback.

- Ensure designs support operational efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

- Identify and resolve design risks, conflicts, and inefficiencies.

- Support development and maintenance of internal design standards and best practices.

- Lead design review meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams.

- Track and manage design deliverables and schedules across multiple concurrent projects.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
