The Human Resource Director holds a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization by collaborating with the executive and leadership teams in order to drive the development and implementation of human resource initiatives that align with our business objectives and foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Delivering strategic HR leadership in areas of organizational development, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, diversity and inclusion, labor laws/legal compliance and training and development programs.
- Implementing and measuring the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at supporting the performance, growth, reward and engagement of all employees.
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Reviewing policies, procedures and other organizational programs with a lens of continued process improvement to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all HR related processes and procedures and implement best practices.
- Overseeing the management and administration of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, training and development.
- Monitoring and ensuring the organization’s compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management (required)
- Master’s Degree or MBA preferred
- 20+ years of proven Human Resources experience in a complex Business Partner role or broad HR leadership position (required)
- Prior manager experience (required)
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- SHRM & PHR Certification preferred
The anticipated salary range for this position is $190,000 - $225,700. Final pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and work location and may vary accordingly.
