About this role

Responsible for the timely boarding of new loans to our servicing software, communicating both internally with partners and externally with customers and fulfilling associated requests received by telephone and electronic communication.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Facilitates loan servicing and loan boarding activities for primarily real estate and other collateralized loans

- Review each loan for accuracy of data and completeness of investor requirements and activate them in the system

- Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to data integrity or documentation

- Update internal system regarding status of loans

- Ensures that services are delivered professionally and efficiently with prompt problem resolution

- Maintains current knowledge of all policies, procedures and other documentation for servicing, program or products

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including but not limited to, RESPA, TILA, and investor guidelines

- Understands multiple aspects of mortgage loan servicing including customer service, collection and sale of collateral, and corresponding systems

- Answer general servicing questions via various communication methods

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

- And additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

- Mortgage industry, mortgage servicing and/or quality control experience preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED

- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively.

- Strong research and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in ability to access, input, retrieve and interpret information using applicable computer systems with limited supervision including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Power BI, etc. MSP servicing software experience preferred.

- Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.  Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, efficiently follow written and verbal instructions.

- Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions.

- Flexibility and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals, clients, staff, and outside contacts in person, by telephone and electronic communication.

- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing

- Ability to use company equipment (including but not limited to telephone, copiers, fax machines, computers, internet, etc.)
