The Senior Retail Pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. The Senior Retail Pharmacist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Retail Pharmacist prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory. Provide information to the Senior members on drugs and pharmaceuticals. Directly work with the patients. Begin to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Degree
- Licensed in the State of Florida
- Immunization certification
- Checks and verifies prescriptions for accuracy, standard compliance, and dosing or dosage form errors, and adjusts documentation and labeling.
- Assure the workflow is optimized.
- Contribute to development of standards and procedures for achieving and maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
- Maintain proper control and care of drug supplies and equipment. Follow SOP for out-of-stock notification.
- Monitor established quality assurance measurements for the department to meet goals and regulatory requirements.
- Signs and approves all compounded dispenses and sign log sheets for checking prepack labels before release for dispensing.
- Assist in pharmacy end-of-day closing and verifies SOPs have been followed.
- Maintain knowledge and proficiency in the dispensing and checking systems with acceptable verification rates and overall efficiency*

- Expertise with CMR & TIPS
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
