About this role

As a Senior Data Product Architect, you will be responsible for shaping and guiding the enterprise data architecture strategy and its implementation. This role involves developing and supporting strategic data initiatives through blueprints and roadmaps, ensuring data is consistently available and shared across the organization. You will work closely with leadership, architects, SMEs, and the Enterprise PMO to support governance and alignment of IT products/projects with enterprise standards, reducing duplication and risk.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the company’s enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the development and support of strategic data blueprints and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with leadership, architects, SMEs, and the Enterprise PMO to ensure data architecture alignment and governance.
- Identify and mitigate data redundancy and duplication across capabilities to reduce costs and risks.
- Develop and maintain data models, reference architectures, and data management guidelines.
- Facilitate the integration of enterprise data across various platforms and applications.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in data architecture and recommend adoption strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to IT teams on data architecture best practices and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ Years of Experience in Enterprise Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Expert proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, The Open Group Architecture Framework).
- Extensive experience with enterprise architecture, capability planning, and alignment of IT to corporate and BU strategy.
- Experience with drafting reference architecture.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating applications.
- Vendor management experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Data Management, including Data Ingestion, ETL, Data Modeling, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Metada Management, Master Data Management, and/or Business Intelligence and Analytics.
- Experience building data and integration platforms.
- Database management experience, on-prem or cloud.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Experience with cloud technologies and migrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and application modernization.
- Experience conceptualizing and developing abstract representations.
- DevOps methodology experience.
- Data Management experience, both on-prem and cloud.

Essential Functions:

- Perform desk-based computer tasks for extended periods.
- Engage in repetitive motions, including typing on a keyboard.
- Occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Ability to travel as required.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
