Position Overview
Concord Prep School is seeking a results-driven, hands-on Director of Marketing & Enrollment Growth to develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified prospective-family leads, and drive domestic student enrollment growth throughout Orange County.
This position will play a critical role in expanding Concord's presence in the local market and promoting our growing school and campus to prospective students and families.
The ideal candidate combines strong marketing strategy and execution experience, an established Orange County network, and proven success in community partnerships and lead generation.
We are looking for someone who can move beyond networking and brand awareness to develop actionable marketing initiatives, personally execute outreach campaigns, and deliver measurable enrollment-related results.
This is a highly hands-on, external-facing role requiring initiative, creativity, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Enrollment Growth
• Develop and personally execute offline marketing strategies focused on increasing domestic student enrollment and brand awareness in Orange County.
• Create actionable 30/60/90-day marketing and outreach plans with measurable goals, timelines, and lead generation targets.
• Identify target student and parent demographics, local market opportunities, and effective channels for reaching prospective families.
• Design and execute local marketing campaigns that generate qualified prospective-family leads and student enrollment opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Admissions team to align marketing initiatives with student recruitment goals and enrollment priorities.
Community Partnerships & Local Outreach
• Leverage existing Orange County professional and community relationships to establish strategic partnerships and referral opportunities.
• Personally identify, contact, and develop relationships with local schools, educational organizations, youth organizations, parent groups, businesses, chambers of commerce, and community leaders.
• Build referral partnerships and outreach programs that connect Concord with prospective students and families.
• Proactively identify new partnership opportunities and independently manage outreach from initial contact through execution and follow-up.
• Represent Concord at community events, networking functions, education fairs, and local business or community gatherings.
Offline Marketing & Event Execution
• Plan, coordinate, and execute open houses, campus tours, information sessions, community events, and other student recruitment initiatives.
• Develop creative grassroots and field marketing campaigns to increase awareness of Concord among Orange County families.
• Identify relevant local events and personally coordinate participation, partnerships, promotional activities, and prospective-family engagement.
• Work with internal teams to develop marketing materials, messaging, and promotional initiatives supporting local outreach and student recruitment.
Lead Generation & Performance Tracking
• Establish measurable lead generation goals and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, partnerships, events, and outreach activities.
• Monitor qualified leads, referral sources, event participation, and enrollment-related conversion opportunities.
• Collaborate with Admissions to ensure timely lead follow-up and effective conversion of prospective families into applicants and enrolled students.
• Regularly evaluate marketing performance and adjust outreach strategies to improve lead quality, engagement, and enrollment outcomes.
• Provide clear progress updates and recommendations based on measurable results.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, field marketing, community marketing, strategic partnerships, business development, student recruitment, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing strategies or campaigns that generate measurable leads, customer acquisition, or enrollment-related results.
• Strong knowledge of offline marketing, grassroots marketing, community outreach, and relationship-based lead generation.
• Established professional or community network in Orange County, or a demonstrated ability to quickly build productive local partnerships.
• Proven ability to independently develop, launch, and execute marketing initiatives from concept through completion.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships, referral programs, local marketing campaigns, or community engagement initiatives.
• Strong communication, networking, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to connect marketing activities to measurable lead generation and growth objectives.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and personally managing outreach, events, partnership development, and follow-up activities.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to work independently in a growing organization.
• Experience in education marketing, student admissions, private schools, or student recruitment is strongly preferred but not required.

Compensation
