- A large-scale, multi-tenant fee calculation platform that processes high-volume Selling Partner transactions in near real time
- Core systems across the fee ecosystem — fee strategy engines, fee integrity/accuracy monitoring, weight-and-dimension capture, fee data platforms, and Seller fee-preview tooling (e.g., Revenue Calculator)
- Fee transparency experiences that let Sellers understand what they'll be charged before and after a sale

Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll be accountable to help define your team's system architecture. You’ll own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall your team's technical strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other engineering team members to help define the product. As an experienced engineer, you will provide the technical experience to the team, drive best practices, mentor other engineers and drive continuous improvements in engineering and operational excellence.You'll also champion the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to raise team productivity and code quality. You will have an opportunity to expand your own skills by
learning from the very best software engineers and architects in the world.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
