Your Impact
The purpose of the Creative Director/Sr Creative Director role is to lead internal and external creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns that tell a compelling brand story to inspire and reach customers, drive traffic to our stores and online, while building customer preference for Lowe's. This role is responsible for translating marketing strategies into original, compelling creative concepts and approaches across channels and teams. The Creative Director/Sr Creative Director will manage the execution of production studio(s) across broadcast, radio, digital, photography and more. This role will have direct responsibility of the global creative team for Marketing. In partnership with the VP Creative, they will set the creative strategy and vision and provide leadership and guidance to the global team. They are expected to manage a roughly $50MM production budget and present creative confidently to marketing leadership.
What You Will Do
- Lead our in-house creative team which consists of: Enterprise Signage, Brand Advertising (TV), Copy and Design Studio and our outside creative agency.
- Deliver breakthrough production processes to lower the production costs while maintaining quality; demonstrates ability to innovate, experiment, learn & scale ideas
- Manage and leads creation and strategic vision of video, photo, AI and CGI content production services
- Lead brainstorming sessions and creative reviews in which insights and ideas are generated which shape creative concepts.
- Strategically manage the Lowe’s Brand and its representation to the customer, inclusive of tonality, brand character, Brand guidelines that is used and leveraged across Private Brands, external Vendors, internal communication and all external communication.
- Collaborate and listens to the needs of internal stakeholders to deliver creative strategies and assets that meet the business needs through Lowe’s Internal Creative Studio.
- Bid and negotiate with production vendors, facilitates SOWs, business affair, legal and talent matters
- Drive innovation within the team by encouraging new ideas and new formats.
- Work with capacity and portfolio planning to assess and monitor internal team capacity and agency resources to ensure viability and feasibility of projects
- Identify emerging issues or concerns that could impact projects and develops and recommends potential solutions/improvements to prevent repeat of issues in future project execution
- Mentor creative staff through critique of their work with the intent of developing consistent creative quality and driving traffic to our stores and website.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Art, Design or other advertising related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 10-12 Years in Creative Leadership role
- 5 Years Experience as a creative leader on the brand/client side, preferably in retail
Preferred Skills/Education
- Experience in advertising, collateral and brand identity
- Experience in leading and executing automated workflows to build content at scale.
