Overview

Rogue Fitness is the leading manufacturer of strength and conditioning equipment in the world - barbells, power racks, sleds, and the equipment behind the CrossFit Games, Xenom Decathlon of Fitness, the Arnold Strongman Classic, and more. We build it in-house, at scale, in Columbus, Ohio.

We are hiring a Director, Finance Technology to own and shape the enterprise systems that run Rogue's financial backbone. This is a Director-level, high-impact role at the intersection of finance, accounting, and technology. You will exercise broad leadership scope and strategic ownership over how our finance, supply chain, and accounting workflows operate globally, ensuring every financial and purchasing software system works cohesively to support a manufacturing and e-commerce business operating at scale. You will partner with Rogue leadership to define long-term technology roadmaps and translate complex technical tradeoffs into clear business strategy.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Columbus, OH facility. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership alongside business leaders—including the CFO, Director of Finance, and key stakeholders across finance, e-commerce, manufacturing, and IT—to align technology initiatives with global enterprise strategy
- Develop roadmaps for financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and growth strategy
- Manage the financial technologies for purchasing and supply chain, ensuring accurate inventory, automated purchasing processes, and optimized vendor workflows
- Oversee the financial configuration, reporting architecture, and compliance of enterprise accounting and AP automation systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, QuickBooks, Tipalti, etc)
- Establish integration of general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, inventory, purchasing, and other finance systems through robust APIs
- Design, test, and deploy solutions that streamline accounting workflows and reduce manual tasks
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance financial data accuracy, process automation, and overall system performance
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of finance technology developers
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to identify and implement process optimizations
- Ensure all accounting and purchasing platforms adhere to internal controls, industry regulations, and data security requirements
- Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to track the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of finance technologies

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s or advanced certifications beneficial)
- MBA required
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, finance technology, corporate finance, or a related field, with proven experience operating at a senior level when delivering technology solutions
- Understanding of accounting principles, including general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, inventory, and purchasing
- Industry experience in e-commerce or manufacturing preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Proficient in APIs, data integration methods, and process automation best practices
- Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams to deliver technology initiatives
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear solution recommendations
