ABOUT THE TEAM
As a Developer Intern within the GenAI & Digital Workplace team, you will join a dynamic and innovative group that leverages its intellectual leadership to create an engaging, efficient, and intuitive work environment. In this role you will play a key role in maximizing the value delivered by the Technology, Data, and Operations (TDO) group to PSP’s various business lines.
Our mission is to enable PSP employees to enhance their digital dexterity, deepen their knowledge of GenAI, and facilitate the secure adoption of AI and collaborative technologies in a constantly evolving technological landscape, while ensuring access to knowledge resources and collaboration channels anytime, anywhere, with contextual relevance.
As a member of the team, you will contribute to our vision of a human-centered and efficient digital experience that helps our business partners invest with foresight, operate with excellence, and foster deeper technological integration. We are a curious team that stays continuously up to date on advanced AI and digital technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, synergies, and operational benefits, and contributing to PSP’s skills-development strategy and the evolution of our AI and collaboration ecosystem.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern, GenAI and Digital Workplace , you’ll:
- Help design and document AI Playbooks, practical guides that help PSP teams get more value out of our GenAI tools
- Build small, hands-on AI solutions, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot agents and Claude Skills, that the team can pilot and deploy across PSP's business lines
- Help turn the ideas generated during our internal hackathon into a structured, prioritized backlog the team can build from
- Support testing, documentation, and light troubleshooting of AI prototypes before they're handed off for wider deployment
- Research emerging GenAI tools and capabilities, and summarize practical takeaways and recommendations for the team
- Help track and report on adoption of the AI tools you help build, for example simple usage metrics or user feedback
PSP offers globally aligned compensation structures for its internship program, which are sensitive to local market conditions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Must return to studies after the internship, or the internship must be part of your academic curriculum
- Working proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Genuine curiosity about generative AI and large language models, hands-on experience with AI assistants, prompting, or agent-building (personal, academic, or professional projects all count)
- Comfort with MS Office / Microsoft 365; exposure to the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and ask good questions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position. No support to obtain the right to work will be provided. *Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit
- Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
