What You’ll Do:
As a Warehouse Coordinator , you’ll be part of our Decorah Operations team located in Decorah, IA. You’ll get to:
PRODUCT DESTINATION COORDINATION:
- Does receiving of and verify all outside service products.
- Determines product destination (further operations, sort, package, bulk, bag and paint) of product by reviewing customer needs and current inventory levels
- Communicates destination of product to warehouse lead person.
SCHEDULING:
- Schedules all parts through assigned areas.
- Prioritize the schedule by reviewing customer ship dates and maintaining efficiency of area.
- Review schedules to ensure product is moving as scheduled through the warehouse or sort.
- Recommend resolutions of bottlenecks and other constraints to appropriate personnel.
- Advise appropriate personnel when production falls behind or when potential for late deliveries exists.
- Determine and provide ship dates to the Sales Department by evaluating the ability for break-ins and schedule modification.
- Recommends overtime needs in assigned areas to ensure customer delivery requirements are maintained.
- Notify appropriate personnel if schedules may not be maintained.
- Determines alternate routings for expedited shipments.
- Perform duties as requested by the Supervisor or Lead person.
- Must be available to work overtime as needed.
INVENTORY MAINTENANCE:
- Assists the Inventory Analyst in evaluating and determining the need for inventory adjustments in assigned area.
- Review the manufacturing system to determine and ensure adequate levels of inventory to meet ship requirements.
- Makes adjustments and assists with the planning and setup of new and existing parts.

Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse or sort operation. (Product flow and capabilities).
- Knowledge of freight vendor schedule and abilities.
- Basic fastener knowledge.
- Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
Preferred:
1. Knowledge of product line.
