Job Summary
As a skilled Ironworker Fabricator you'll be responsible for welding and fabricating structural components for equipment and plant systems, ensuring durability and safety in demanding environments. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of mining operations, as you'll be involved in both maintenance and new construction projects. What Fabricators Do
- Perform various welding methods on equipment and plant structures to repair or fabricate parts, ensuring all welds meet safety and quality standards
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mining equipment, including conveyors, crushers, and other heavy machinery
- Fabricate and repair structural plant components such as supports, platforms, and equipment mounts
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication and welding requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment structural issues and develop effective repair solutions
- Work closely with maintenance personnel, plant operators, and engineers to assess repair needs and prioritize work
- Support preventative maintenance and inspection programs to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life
- Provide welding and fabrication support for new construction, plant modifications, and expansion projects
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed to complete fabrication and repair work

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of welding and fabrication experienced preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in stick welding and torch cutting
- Basic math proficiency
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of basic physics principles
- English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment where all employees contribute to operational success
- Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and learn or perform a variety of tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment functional testing, physical examination, and drug screening
Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to frequently sit, stand, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 75 pounds. The employee must have sufficient hearing to monitor equipment operation and identify potential failures, as well as adequate vision to safely perform work around mobile and processing equipment.
The employee must be able to identify and evaluate problems, make timely and sound decisions, and understand the impact of those decisions. Strong communication skills are required to effectively share repair, maintenance, and safety information with employees and other team members.
The employee must be able to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks and interruptions, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. The ability to plan work effectively and adapt to changing operational needs is also required.
Lannon Stone Products operates in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. Travel between company locations is an essential function of this position, and employees must be able to reliably travel between sites.

Working Environment
Up to 100% of work is performed in manufacturing and mining environments around industrial and mobile equipment, with up to 25% of time spent driving between locations. The work environment may include extreme temperatures, strong odors, fuels, dust, grease, noise, and other conditions common to industrial and mining operations.
