The Denver Production Industrial Engineering organization is seeking an experienced leader to support a growing team responsible for improving manufacturing performance across production operations.

This role is a working leadership position that balances technical contribution with people leadership, mentoring, workload prioritization, and organizational development. The successful candidate will help strengthen the IE team’s technical capability, create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and develop engineers who can independently lead change across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

* Lead, mentor, and develop Industrial Engineers supporting Denver production operations.
* Balance direct technical contribution with team leadership and day-to-day execution support.
* Drive a change-agent culture within the IE team and across production organizations.
* Help prioritize team workload based on business impact, operational risk, and production need.
* Coach engineers toward stronger problem ownership, technical judgment, and cross-functional influence.
* Partner across Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Scheduling, Quality, and Program teams to improve execution and resolve complex issues.
* Support adoption of improved processes, tools, automation, and standardized ways of working.
* Strengthen team operating mechanisms, knowledge transfer, succession depth, and accountability.
* Serve as a trusted technical and leadership resource to the Industrial Engineering Manager and production leadership.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
* Demonstrated experience leading projects, teams, workstreams, or cross-functional improvement efforts.
* Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or develop others.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Ability to influence across organizational boundaries and drive issues to closure.
* Ability to balance technical work, team priorities, and leadership responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Desired Skills

* Previous formal or informal people-leadership experience.
* Experience developing technical talent or helping build, scale, or transform an engineering organization.
* Demonstrated change-management or continuous-improvement leadership.
* Experience supporting production ramp-up, manufacturing readiness, or complex production environments.
* Experience introducing or improving tools, automation, digital capabilities, or standardized processes.
* Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build a team culture of accountability, constructive challenge, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

* For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
