MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Solutions Architect / Book Boss to join our Growth Team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position and will require onsite presence.

The Solutions Architect / Book Boss will leverage their strategic and technical expertise to lead complex Federal acquisitions, shepherd subject matter experts through technical solutioning, and drive the delivery of high-quality proposal volumes and presentations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Generating overall solution architectures by converting high-level concepts into integrated proposal volumes.
- Shepherding Technical Directors, Practice Leads, and Key Personnel through virtual and in-person solutioning sessions using whiteboard and slide tools.
- Creating and manipulating PowerPoint slide text and graphics in collaboration with graphic design teams.
- Incorporating human element requirements into solutioning to define people, processes, and technologies for task delivery.
- Owning all aspects of solution development for Orals Slide Presentations and Project Staffing Plans from Pre-Final RFP through Color Team reviews.
- Guiding Proposal Production Teams to ensure the development of integrated, fully compliant, and compelling proposals.
- Implementing Quality Assurance and Quality Control frameworks to elevate win probability and oversee final solution integration.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 12+ years of equivalent experience leading across federal program management, BD, capture, technical architecture, and proposal continuum.
- Hands-on experience in Solution Architecting and problem solving within Federal Government Contracting and Mission Operation environments.
- Demonstrated ability leading and facilitating working sessions while manipulating artifacts to capture inputs and make live proposal content updates.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace toolsets.
- Demonstrated experience with Federal acquisition vehicles, contracting mechanisms, and rapid task-order environments.
- Proven track record in strategy, problem framing, technical development, and technical proposal writing.
- Proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to deliver compliant proposals and oral presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.
- Industry or government certifications such as PMP, DAWIA III, SAFe Agile, ITIL, Cybersecurity/Cloud Solutions Architect, or Shipley certifications.
- Professional Military Experience, such as graduation from Command and Staff College, Top-Level School, or a school of advanced warfighting.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $156,800.00-$281,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
