As an Operator , you will perform maintenance, repair, inspection, cleaning, and documentation activities on ISO tank containers to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

What you will be doing
You will be responsible for performing all required maintenance and repair operations on ISO tank containers at the STC Depot Houston facility, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications. In this hands-on, outdoor role, you will inspect and clean container interiors, complete all necessary documentation such as EIRs and customer paperwork, and safely operate heavy container lifting equipment while working closely with depot management and colleagues to manage container inventory and support smooth depot operations. You will carry out your tasks with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement of procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Properly complete EIR's on all in/out bound containers.
- Operate 36,000 lb. Container lift.
- Ability to inspect & clean container interior.
- Have full knowledge & understanding of customer specifications prior to containers exiting depot facility.
- Perform necessary paper required by customers prior to container exiting depot facility.
- Manage container inventory while containers are store at depot.
- Perform all other duties as required by Stolt Management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in tank container repair preferred.
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be self starter and have ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work closely with others
- You must be physically strong: able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally; and up to 83 pounds infrequently.
- You’ll need good balance to regularly step on and off equipment and work from ladders to perform various tasks, and you must be able to walk, sit, stand, and stoop comfortably, working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, ice, and rain) and frequently at elevations 15 feet above the ground.
Note: You must be medically able to use respirators, able to work in confined spaces, and meet ANSI weight guidelines while wearing PPE.
