Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for leading and tracking day‑to‑day parts operations, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The role oversees central parts operations and supervises parts activities and parts teams across all branches and maintaining tight alignment with procurement, service, and sales functions to guarantee smooth processes, optimal inventory levels, and maximum parts availability. This position supports the Senior Manager in executing strategic parts initiatives and maintaining operational excellence.
Job Role:
1. Parts Operations Management
• Oversee daily parts operations and ensure consistent standards are applied across all branches.
• Monitor parts order fulfilment, backorder status, and emergency sourcing to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in parts handling, storage, and distribution processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all parts transactions, including receipts, invoicing, and returns.
2. Branch Supervision & Support:
• Supervise and support branch parts teams and coordinators to ensure uniform operational practices.
• Leads and develops parts teams across multiple branches, ensuring consistent performance standards and clear accountability.
• Assist in approving branch operational plans, staffing needs, and escalations.
3. Inventory & Parts Availability:
• Manage inventory levels across all locations to ensure maximum parts availability while controlling excess stock.
• Analyze sales trends, vehicle parc data, and seasonal demand to optimize stocking strategies.
• Set and monitor minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock for all locations.
• Coordinate inter-branch stock transfers to balance availability and reduce lost sales.
4. Supplier & Procurement Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers, logistics & procurement teams to ensure timely procurement and competitive rates
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and fill rates; escalate issues as needed.
• Support negotiation of pricing agreements and supply terms in coordination with management.
5. Performance Reporting & KPIs:
• Track and report key performance indicators including parts fill rate, inventory turnover, backorder rate, and branch compliance.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management highlighting achievements, risks, and recommendations.
• Benchmark branch performance and implement best practices across the network.
6. Systems & Process Compliance:
• Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with CEER’s ERP & RMS (Retail Management System) procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate parts catalogs, pricing, and system data across all locations.
• Support system updates, process roll-outs, and new initiatives implementations.
7. Customer & Stakeholder Relations:
• Ensure a high standard of parts service to internal customers (service, bodyshop, sales) and external customers.
• Resolve escalated parts-related complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal & external customers to support business objectives.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5 Years Minimum in a relevant field in automotive parts operations. • Prior experience overseeing multiple locations or branches is strongly preferred.
