THE JOB:

Mandalay Bay’s Convention and Banquets team delivers exceptional dining experiences across more than 2 million square feet of meeting and event space, catering everything from executive dinners to large-scale galas serving thousands of guests. As an Sous Chef , you will oversee daily banquet kitchen operations, mentor culinary staff, and ensure every plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

- Maintain quality and proper presentation of food Drive the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly
- Communicate with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings
- Schedule and maintain the budgeted labor costs as well as potential food cost
- Understand and utilize Stratton Warren system properly for purchasing, release orders and cost transfers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years of age or older
- 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume setting
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a culinary positon
