What Youll Do
In this role, you will manage a variety of important administrative, insurance, and operational tasks:
- Obtain and verify patient demographics and required chart notes from referral systems, physician offices, and hospital partners
- Communicate effectively using phone, email, and other digital communication platforms
- Perform insurance verification and obtain prior authorizations as required
- Process daily point-of-sale transactions and complete accurate reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across systems
- Monitor, maintain, and order inventory as needed to ensure appropriate supply levels
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders to support operational needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of patient-related requests
- Support additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned
What Were Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills and ability to use standard office systems and applications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Preferred:
- 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and training)
- Experience in healthcare, insurance verification, billing, pharmacy, or data processing
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
