What you'll be up to:
Please note this role is a 12-month fixed term parental leave cover.
The Partnerships & Events Manager leads QMS’ strategic partnerships, sponsorships and national and state-based events to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and client satisfaction. The role oversees partnership development, negotiations, event delivery and reporting, ensuring all initiatives align with QMS’ business goals, values and brand strategy.
- Manage commercial partnerships, negotiations, activations and reporting to maximise value and ROI.
- Deliver campaigns and sponsorships on time, within budget and aligned with QMS objectives.
- Build strong partner relationships and leverage sponsorship assets across brand, digital, PR and hospitality.
- Manage event planning, logistics and execution to ensure on-brand, high-quality experiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to align event objectives and customer experiences.
- Develop and deliver national and state-based events that support commercial goals and client engagement.
- Track KPIs, evaluate performance and report outcomes and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Work with Brand, Campaign, Digital and Communications teams to align activities with QMS’ brand strategy and priorities.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Events or Communications.
- 6+ years’ experience in events, partnerships or sponsorship marketing.
- Proven track record delivering complex programs and managing stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent organisation, multitasking and budget management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and collaboration tools such as Slack, Asana and Splash.
- Calm, solutions-focused and accountable under pressure.
- Collaborative, customer-focused and service-oriented.
- Professional and personable in client-facing environments.
