RH is seeking a Facilities Associate to execute quality maintenance initiatives for the Home Office. This hands-on Team Member will partner closely with the Facilities Leadership Team to ensure every maintenance need is met and held to RH standards. From building repairs to grounds upkeep, this role keeps our Home Office running beautifully and reflects our commitment to quality and service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Plan and coordinate Facilities activities to deliver an optimum level of maintenance service.
- Complete quality repairs and upkeep across buildings, grounds, building systems and storage structures.
- Perform general building repair and maintenance, including drywall, painting, doors and hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures and basic electrical and HVAC support.
- Maintain campus grounds and landscaping in partnership with landscaping vendors.
- Move furniture, support office upgrades and hang art and decor to RH design standards.
- Respond quickly to downtime and urgent repair situations that affect the Home Office.
- Minimize downtime through preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance.
- Complete assigned work orders with precision, ensuring the work meets the needs of the operation.
- Partner with third-party service providers and trades, including porters, landscaping, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, to support daily Home Office operations.
- Uphold a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA and HAZMAT requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and establish best practices for Facilities maintenance.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building repair or a related skilled trade.
- Working knowledge of building systems and repair, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC basics.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to resolving issues through a quality filter.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Capacity to prioritize multiple incoming requests and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Service-oriented mindset with a "yes, I can" attitude and a "Teams Win" philosophy.
- Enthusiasm for working alongside creative Team Members in a design-centric environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps is a plus.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks as needed, including standing, bending, climbing and moving furniture.
- Working a variable schedule that includes occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Moving between indoor and outdoor areas of the Home Office campus.
