Transolve delivers tailored transport and logistics solutions for a diverse range of industries, managing complex bulk liquid supply chains while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service excellence and operational performance.
Operations Coordinator - Auckland or Christchurch, New Zealand

Are you an experienced freight forwarding professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment? We're seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our growing New Zealand team in either Auckland or Christchurch. This is an opportunity to work across international freight operations, manage customer shipments from start to finish, and play a key role in delivering outstanding service outcomes.
As an Operations Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across every stage of the logistics journey. You'll work closely with customers, carriers, airlines, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders to ensure shipments are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities -
- Manage international import and export shipments using CargoWise.
- Coordinate freight movements with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers and co-loaders.
- Provide proactive shipment updates and exceptional customer service.
- Resolve operational issues and support customers with shipment enquiries.
- Process shipping documentation, reporting, cargo declarations and invoicing.
- Monitor shipment performance and ensure service levels and customer KPIs are achieved.
- Maintain accurate customer and shipment records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience.
About You -
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a freight forwarding operations role.
- Solid understanding of international import and export processes.
- Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using CargoWise (essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems proactively.
- High proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
- A positive, team-focused and customer-centric mindset.
- Flexitank and ISOtank experience.
- Exposure to both air and sea freight operations.
